Where your data lives
Your patients’ data is held in the UK, on Microsoft Azure. Our key sub-processors include Microsoft Azure (UK hosting and storage), Cloudflare (security and delivery) and Supabase (authentication). Analytics are opt-in and never receive health data. The full, current sub-processor list is available to your team on request; our DPIA is in progress and we will share it once complete.
Technical security
- Encrypted. Your patients' data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Modern sign-in. Access is via Microsoft Entra identity, and admin tools are kept separate from patient accounts.
- No shared keys. Our systems connect using managed identities, not shared passwords or account keys.
- Tamper-evident audit. Sensitive actions are recorded in an append-only audit trail.

BumpNotes includes a clear, plain-language library of pregnancy conditions and warning signs — what they are, and when to get further help. Every item is based on RCOG and NICE guidance and fully referenced, so your patients can read a little more and know what to do.
As an optional extra, we can tailor it to your service — your local pathways and triage routes, your own wording, and the conditions your patients most often present with — so what they read matches the care you provide.
